Register for the latest Sulky Seminar

Join us on Saturday, April 28, at our Park Row loation for the latest Sulky Seminar. Sulky Educator Suzy Seed will be on hand to lead you in this wonderful informative session.

Based on the lates Sulky book, "fun with Sulk Blendables and Solid Color Cotton Thread", this is a 2 1/2 hour session is packed full of tips hints and projects. YOu will learn some creative ways to use Sulky's unique color changing blendables.

Some of the techniques that you will learn include free motion play, raw edge applique, and the wonderful results you can get suing this thread in the serger.

Suzy will also show you some great projects that can be achieved with blendables and solid cotton thread. Some of the projets you will see are free motion lace that results in a lovely shawl and 3D embellished leaves. In additon you will learn how to do easy foundation piecings wit the Sulky Paper Solvy. We will have tow sessions. The first, from 10-12:30pm and one form 2:30-5pm. Cost is $20 and you will receive some wonderful Sulky products valued at $15. So you leave the seminar with some great information and free productrs as well. So mark your claendars for Saturday, April 28an come join us for this great event. We are expanding to the Joann's Store in the Woodlands/Spring Area

Those of you who live in the Woodlands and Spring area will want to come by and see us a the new Joann's Fabric and Crafts at 25415 Interstate 45. We will have an inset store inside of the Joann's. We will carry the Husqvrna Viking line of sewing machines as well as all the latest accessories and products.

The Grand Opening is scheduled for April 16. We would love to see you! And, of course, we will have some great deals and Grand Opening Specials. So plan to come by and see us!

Test Drive a Pfaff Machine

McDougal Sewing Center is proud to host a special event at our Park Row location on Friday June 22 featuring the Pfaff Creative Performance conduted by a Pfaff Event Specialist. We will have a session from 10-1.

In this event you will have fun learning how to create elegant designs as well as sew on the wonderful Pfaff machine. This is your opportunity to spedn some extended time sewing on the Pfaff and learning all about the Integrated dual feed that is uinque to Pfaff.

You will sit in front of the machine and actual sew several different projects so you can see for yourself the state of the art features of Pfaff Performance.Experience the precision of sewing on a Pfaff with its "built in walking foot" and gorgeous 9 mm stitches. Whether you are a quilter, garment sewer or a home decor person you will be impressed with the Pfaff. Once you have experienced the sewin capabilities you will then do an embroidery and learn how fun and easy it is to create one of kind projects with Pfaff.

You must register in advance. The cost of the class is $10 and yu will receive a $15 merchandize credit once you complete the class. We only have room for 10 people so register soon to take advantage of this opportunity.
